The show is called How I met Your Mother and is a comedy about a guy called Ted falling in love. It all starts when Ted’s best friend, Marshall drops the bombshell that he’s going to propose to his long-time bit on the side, Lily, a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted founds out that he had better get a move on if he too hopes to find true happiness. Aiding him in his quest is Barney a friend with unstoppable, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet ladies. When Ted meets Robin he’s certain it’s love at first sight, but destiny may have something else in store. The series is narrated through flashbacks from the future. So with the help of hiscomrades, often unsolicited he goes about finding the lady of his dreams. Barney, Ted’s pal has the propensity to harm him more than help him. The show also follows Ted’s best friends Marshall and Lily as they get ready for married life.
